- Check the smart audit results and the reputation of the auditing firm, even if it does not guarantee the security, of protocols and smart contracts before depositing your funds.
- Always ensure you understand a protocol's governance and the risks you are taking before depositing any funds.
- Be very careful when visiting links or downloading apps or attachments.
- Be aware that sometimes even clicking Google results can lead to getting your funds stolen - sometimes “Ad” results can be fake versions of a website and can end up capturing your login information
- Always make sure you’re downloading the correct, legitimate version of an application.
- Never give anyone your login information, seed phrase, or private keys.
